Prof Dr Suzana Shahar obtained her BSc (Hons) (Dietetics) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, followed by her MMedSci (Human Nutrition) and PhD (Human Nutrition) from the University of Sheffield. Her research interest is on nutrition and epidemiology of aging, nutrition and neuroscience and cancer.She is the co-director for Malaysia Establishment of ASEAN-Wide Research Networking on Ageing, the Leadership Committee of the International Research Networking on Dementia Prevention (IRNDP), member of the Cohort Studies of Memory in An International Consortium (COSMIC) and member of the WHO Group Development Guideline of Risk Reduction of Cognitive Decline.
